The Morrisville Means Business Program is proud to host a Small Business Lunch & Learn.

Internet connected IT infrastructure is key to an efficient operation for most Small Businesses. This session will help you:

    • Identify key gaps in your IT infrastructure, which could present opportunity for hackers.

    • Share a step-by-step guide to identify and bridge those gaps to ensure that your IT infrastructure, customer data and intellectual property is secure from prying eyes.

    • Share steps to take in case you fall victim to a cyberattack.

    • Opportunity to network with other small businesses and experts in the field of cybersecurity.

A copy of the presentation and a list of free resources will be made available to all the participants. No fee for registration.

Samudra Vijay
President of Sam IT Solutions, Morrisville NC

Samudra is the president of Sam IT Solutions, a Managed IT services company that he founded in Morrisville, NC in 2009. Samudra was trained as Mechanical & Nuclear Engineer in India and earned his PhD from MIT. His research was focused on Mathematical Modeling of Energy and Environmental Systems. 

 

Samudra is a certified cybersecurity professional and has a keen interest in interaction of IT and OT systems and cybersecurity. He holds a US patent in cybersecure air gapped backup solution and is a frequent guest speaker at various forums. For over 15-years, Samudra has been involved in developing and implementing strategies to keep the IT infrastructure of its customer secure, and has led responses to cyberattacks including ransomware, malware, and phishing.
